FAQS
Q: Do I need special drivers for my touch screen to work?
A: Yes. You can download the appropriate drivers, based on the operating system you are using from our web site .We will also provide you a full set of drivers on floppy disk. Please request driver packet when you place your order. Drivers can be found for Elotouch (Resistive) units at www.elotouch.com and drivers for Microtouch (capacitive) units are at www.microtouch.com

Q: Can I use my mouse and touch screen simultaneously?
A:Yes. You must first install MOUSE.com along with elodev.exe and monmouse.com in autoexec.bat. If you wish to run only your touchscreen load, nomouse.com instead of mouse.com

Q:What COM ports should I put my touch screen on?
A:COM 1 is the default COM port used by the software But your touch screen will work with any com port.

Q:What can be used to clean the touch screen?
A: We recommend using any standard glass cleaner that does contain ammonia.. Do not spray the cleaner directly on the screen but simply spray it into a towel then clean the screen.

Q: Which should I use a serial or bus
A:Serial is the most popular and cost effective method. As long as you have an available serial port then this is the recommended method. Should all your serial ports be spoken for then the bus controller is an option. With the bus controller you must install a bus card into your pc, as a result your cost will increase.

Q: What operating systems do you have drivers for?
A: We offer drivers for Windows 95/98, Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows 2000, DOS and Macintosh
